Bigfoot! The True Story of Apes in America – L. Coleman

bigfootBigfoot! The True Story of Apes in America
Loren Coleman
2003, Paraview Pocket Books
288pp

Coleman’s book is a cogent (although still not, in my opinion, irrefutable) argument for the reality of an unclassified ape, as well as a good portrait of the often-fractious world of sasquatch hunters. The author can be a bit too enthusiastic, but good writing and thorough research still put this near the top of recent books on the subject.

  1. The author can be a bit too enthusiastic

But over the course of the book, the hoaxes, unverifiable claims, and just plain nonsense, slowly but surely deflate Coleman’s hope.
