This unique book is mainly a showcase for Eggleton’s paintings of sea and lake monsters, real, reported, and mythical. Suckling’s text is forgettable, but Eggleton’s visions of Nessie, plesiosaurs, Ogopogo, etc., are beautiful works of talent and imagination.
